Abstract：The system of vocabulary plays a very impartant role in literary researches. By analysing the differences of vocabulary between Unconstrained Lyric and Restrained Lyric, and that within a lyric, we can find some basic patterns and characteristics in lyrics written in early Song dynasty, which is a very significant semiotic breakthrough in lyric researches.
