Abstract：by Liu Zunming and Wang Zhaopeng is the earliest work ever known which use the quantitative analysis specifically in Ci study. Its traits are: the materials are very rich, complete content, the use of new method and precisely reasoned. But above all, there are a lot of charts and statistics in the book. Charts, data and historical records are analyzed together, makes the conclusion intuitive, accurate and scientific, which have made up for the shortcomings of traditional Ci research methods. In the meantime, good at discovering problems by data analysis, makes the most of the data validation to judge and extend, thus showing the unique value of the new method. The book has the enlightenment meaning for academic research, and it also with a significant impact on Ci study. But how to use the quantitative analysis more reasonable in academic research, there is still need for explore further.
