Abstract：The theory support of Liu Xi-zai’s Ci poetry study is Zheng Bian theory of Ci poetry style, is could reasonably serve as the synthesis of follow “vertical” to respect “horizontal” Zheng Bian type of the past. the most original and influential aim is defined the “horizontal” characteristic of solemn and stirring, based on the “vertical” Zheng source’s characteristic which is grand and concerned about the world, so overthrow the tradition which defined the “horizontal” characteristic of Ci poetry style can only be graceful and restrained, and with the help of the “vertical” Zheng source’s sovereign standing, it can esteem Ci poetry style to its utmost. According to this aim, Liu Xi-zai formed the theory of Yin Yang Zheng Bian, which reflected his original Ci poetry history and dialectic ideas to yang stems and yin terms. Therefore, hold this aim, can help explain what are the characteristic, gain and loss of Liu Xi-zai’s Ci poetry study, and many argument and misreading in correlative study can solved.
