Abstract Abstract: Ye Yanlan was an outstanding ci writer in Guangdong area during late Qing Dynasty, known as “the representative of the southern ci writers”. His ci poems, together with Shen Shiliang’s and Wang Quan’s, were inscribed as Three Ci Writers’ Works in Lingnan Area by Tan Xian with wide spread. His students like Pan Feishen, and his offspring like Ye Gongchuo were well known for their ci poems and had great influence on ci circles in Lingnan.
