Abstract At the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of National Republic of China, Yi Shunding is not being closely watched, and a few appraisal of him are not impartial. However, we could find that he has great talent of poetry and his poetry is magnificent and elegant. Those through his own fame of poetry and academic prejudice.He should compare favorably with the famous, and get much higher status than the impression of posterity in the history of poetry.
