Abstract This thesis places a particularly emphasis on the research of Lyric Poetry Study within the last decade. The results indicate that one of the most important changes is that researchers tend to focus more on lyrics written in Ming and Qing dynasties rather than on that in Tang and Song dynasties. On the base of the datum collected, the author also briefly commented on research achievements, problems, and the trends of lyric research in Lyric Poetry Study.
